Meet at the parking area of the railway station in Grenzach, Germany. Getting there: from Basel SBB train station, take tram 2 direction Badischer Bahnhof for 4 stops to Wettsteinplatz, then bus number 38 from there, direction Wyhlen-Siedlung, 13 stops to the stop called Sparkasse, which is round the corner from the station (the corner will be marked). You will have to buy a special cross-border tram/bus ticket. CHF 3.80 (or 3.50 with a General Abonnement!) There is also a direct train option, from Badischer Bahnhof, at 13:47, arriving at 13:51, for which you would need a German ticket. Run is A to A. Bag car provided. Separate walkers' trail (probably!) On-Inn: a restaurant nearby. Very near to the Swiss border. People can get the bus 38, on the Swiss side, back to central Basel. If you have more energy, Bern have an outstation run the next day. |
