The Birsig River empties into the Rhine at the centre of Basel by the Miltererbrucke. At 21 km, it’s a small river, and the Hash trail will reach its source, a hill run to a private castle, and of course, navigating a labyrinth of dried-out gorges due to the heatwave.

The trail will cross the Swiss French frontier several times.

Those arriving at the Basel SBB, take Tram 10 This is Europe's longest international tram line Rodersdorf is the end of the line, and this tram trip will take 45 minutes.
